Launching in 2022, TaoFortune sweepstakes casino is another venture from A1 Development, who already operate a handful of other successful sweeps sites. The highlights of my TaoFortune experience were the unique promotions, top customer support, regular tournaments, and prize drops.
My TaoFortune review will cover everything you need to know about this sweepstakes casino, exploring promotions, games, purchases, redemptions, user experience, customer support, and more.

TaoFortune Promotions and Bonuses
TaoFortune has plenty of interesting promotions to get stuck into. Players can get free Tao Coins (the equivalent of Gold Coins) and Secret Coins (the equivalent of Sweeps Coins), the latter of which can be turned into Winnings for redeemable prizes.
While I was impressed by the variety of promotions, I found it a little frustrating how some were based on purchases.
While many sweepstakes casinos tend to offer the same old bonuses, TaoFortune pleasantly surprised me with its range of unique promotions. Social media giveaways are the only thing that is usually offered, but they aren’t at TaoFortune. However, I think the other exciting promos more than make up for this gap.
How I Claimed TaoFortune’s No Deposit Bonus
After you sign up, TaoFortune welcomes you to the site with a no-deposit bonus of 250,000 Tao Coins and 100 Secret Coins (which works out similar to 1 SC at other casinos).
- Firstly, I signed up by clicking “Create Free Account” in the middle of the homepage and filling out my details.
- As soon as I entered the site for the first time, I was greeted with a pop-up informing me that I’d received the bonus.
- The 250,000 Tao Coins and 100 Secret Coins were immediately ready in my balance so that I could start gaming right away.
TaoFortune Bonus Code
No TaoFortune bonus code is needed for any of the promotions that I’ve mentioned.
How Does The Sign Up Bonus Compare To Other Sweeps Casinos?
The TaoFortune sign up offer is competitive with other leading sweepstakes casinos. It kept me in the game for a decent stretch, letting me test both TC and SC mode.
The TaoFortune no deposit bonus is 250,000 Tao Coins and 100 Secret Coins. It’s slightly higher than other welcome bonuses on the market. Funrize, for example, provides 125,000 TC and 300 PE.
Sweepstakes operators are more reserved with offering SC in their casino no-deposit bonuses, typically handing out 1 to 3 SC for new players. TaoFortune aligns with this since 100 Secret Coins is similar to 1 SC – although I would say it’s on the lower end of what I would find acceptable. There are exceptions like Zula Casino, which provides 10 SC, or on the other side, Fortune Wheelz, which doesn’t offer any SC at all.
In terms of Gold Coins, TaoFortune’s sign bonus is higher than usual. It’s more than RealPrize or Crown Coins that offer 100,000 GC. However, it isn’t quite as high as Fortune Coins, which provides 630,000 GC.
Other TaoFortune Promotions In April 2025
Take a look at the promotions that TaoFortune has at the moment:
Magic Boxes
Every day, you can open a “Magic Box” to receive your daily reward. I love it when a sweepstakes casino does something a little different for their daily bonus, even if it is a small touch like prize boxes or spinning a wheel rather than a click-to-claim promo. It’s the promotion that sustained my gaming the most; whenever I was running low on coins, I’d just need to wait for the next day to add to my stash.
The number of free coins that you receive is entirely random. It can be Tao Coins or Secret Coins. The first time I opened a box, I snagged 100,000 Tao Coins, which gave a nice boost to my already sizable starting balance. You’ll need to verify your email and phone number to unlock this promotion.
First-Purchase Offer
Players can grab a special deal on their first purchase after joining TaoFortune. Originally $24, they can get 300,000 Tao Coins and 2,400 Secret Coins for just $11.99. So, you get 100% more than usual. This offer is only available on your first purchase.
TAO Club
The Tao Club is TaoFortune’s VIP program, made up of 10 “Planets” with a host of exciting perks. I didn’t manage to make much progress in the Tao Club, only passing through a few levels. I do think it becomes quite unachievable at the higher Planets, but at least perks like coinback are unlocked earlier on.
Once you join TaoFortune, you’ll automatically become part of the Tao Club at Planet 1 (Centaurus). The higher your Planet, the more benefits are unlocked, including coinback, exclusive promos, birthday gifts, quick reward access (faster redemptions), and a personal VIP manager. You progress in the Tao Club by earning points through gaming. However, if you play with SC, you will advance faster.
Each “Planet Tier” is made up of a certain number of levels. You’ll get a bonus of Tao Coins and Secret Coins for every level you reach. For example, at Centaurus 2, you’ll receive 30,000 TC and 30 SC. This reward increases with each level. At the end of the scale, for the Andromeda Tier, the last level will award you 130,000,000 TC and 130,000 SC.
Tier | Levels | Points | Weekly Reward | Exclusive Promotions | Birthday Gift | Quick Reward Access | Personal VIP Manager |
Planet 1 (Centaurus) | 5 Levels | Up to 800 | 0% | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ |
Planet 2 (Booties) | 7 Levels | Up to 5,800 | 1% | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ |
Planet 3 (Lyra) | 10 Levels | Up to 43,300 | 2% | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ |
Planet 4 (Auriga) | 12 Levels | Up to 169,900 | 3% | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ |
Planet 5 (Orion) | 15 Levels | Up to 505,900 | 4% | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ |
Planet 6 (Aquila) | 20 Levels | Up to 1,362,400 | 5% | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ |
Planet 7 (Taurus) | 22 Levels | Up to 3,122,400 | 6% | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ |
Planet 8 (Cygnus) | 24 Levels | Up to 6,398,700 | 11% | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
Planet 9 (Leo) | 30 Levels | Up to 13,414,200 | 15% | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
Planet 10 (Andromeda) | 35 Levels | 13,414,200+ | 20% | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
Weekly Rewards refer to the percentage of Coins that you get back from your gameplay. This percentage depends on your Planet. Every Tuesday, it’ll be calculated based on your play from the previous week; it is the difference between the total Coins played and your total wins, and then the percentage is applied.
This would be a fantastic benefit, but the downside is that any coins received from promotions are excluded from the promo, meaning only coins you’ve already won count towards determining your Weekly Reward. You must play at least 100 TC and 100 SC per week to qualify for this promotion.
Piggy Bank
Every player has their own personal “Piggy Bank.” As you play games with Secret Coins, make purchases, win tournaments, and open Magic Boxes, the “Piggy Bank” will fill up with Secret Coins. If you’re running low on SC, you can break your “Piggy Bank” at any time after it has more than 500 SC for $4.99.
I’m a big fan of this TaoFortune bonus, as I just had to go about gaming and using the site as usual, and the “Piggy Bank” would fill up. There’s no extra effort or participation required. Although I didn’t manage to fill it up by the end of the week, I can see this being a great boost after a few weeks or months, once you hit the 500 SC threshold.
Refer-A-Friend
When you bring a friend on board to Tao Fortune, both of you will get a reward. This is a nice change from the typical referral bonuses I see at sweepstakes casinos, where usually only the person referring gets a bonus.
Curious to see how this worked, I decided to test it out with a colleague. All I had to do was send them my unique link for them to create an account. Then, my referral had to make a purchase of at least $20. Most referral bonuses in sweepstakes gaming are based on purchases, so this wasn’t surprising; I was just happy that it was a relatively low amount for the size of the bonus.
Our bonuses were credited to our account in no time. I received 500,000 TC and 2,000 SC, while my friend was given 400,000 TC and 500 SC. Impressively, there is no limit to how many friends you can invite, opening the door to endless benefits.
Daily Tournaments
TaoFortune hosts a new SC tournament every six hours, while the TC tournaments are available twice a day. I love taking part in tournaments because they give my sweepstakes gaming a competitive edge.
You can find information about the tournaments under “Races,” including the minimum TC or SC required, the prize pools, and the schedule. Players can switch between the TC and SC tournaments by toggling the button at the top of the screen. All games from NetGame except fishing games count towards participation.
In the TC tournaments, the prize pool is 4,000,000 TC, which is split between 30 or 40 players. In the SC tournaments, the prize pool is 10,000, 12,500, or 15,000 SC and is divided between 15 players. Your ranking and the size of your prize depend on your number of points.
Each time that you win, you collect points which are based on multipliers:
- Up to 10x = 2 points
- Up to 25x = 25 points
- Over 25x = 100 points
For example, if you’re playing at 200 SC per spin, then a win of 2,000 is a 10x multiplier. Therefore, you’d get 2 points for your ranking. I like this scoring system since it levels the playing field. It doesn’t matter if you’re a player with high or low stakes; what counts are the multipliers.
Super Scratchers
TaoFortune has a promotion called “Super Scratchers,” where players can get scratch tickets to reveal prizes. Although I’m not particularly keen on how it is based only on free SC from purchases, it’s worth praising TaoFortune for offering creative promos.
You start with the “Starter Scratchers,” which becomes available once you collect 5,000 free SC from purchases. Scratching this ticket is just like a traditional scratch card, revealing potential prizes of up to 250,000 TC and 2,500 SC.
After you’ve scratched the “Starter Scratchers,” you’ll be able to access the “Elite Scratchers.” This ticket ups the ante with a top prize of 500,000 TC and 5,000 SC. Completing the “Elite Scratchers” allows you to move on to the “Legendary Scratchers,” with a grand top prize of 1,000,000 TC and 10,000 SC.
This bonus is definitely better suited to more experienced players who are happy to make a lot of purchases.
Coin Fall
Coin Fall is a new promotion at TaoFortune, which is essentially just prize drops. Players just need to play with SC and enjoy gaming for the chance to win a random prize of SC. There is a daily prize pool of 100,000 SC, with the highest prize being 25,000 SC, and 163 prizes are awarded each day.
Mail-In Requests
You can also request Secret Coins by sending a letter to TaoFortune’s registered address. Players need to handwrite the request, including their name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, and TaoFortune account number. Once it has been received and approved, they’ll get 100 SC. There is a limit of one request per day.
My Experience Opening an Account at TaoFortune
Signing up for TaoFortune took me a few minutes before I was ready to jump straight into gaming with my welcome bonus. It is quicker than registration at other sweepstakes casinos, as there’s no need to enter all of your personal information right away. All you have to do is put in your email and fill in the rest of your profile later on.
- Load the website. Firstly, load the website on your desktop or phone. You’ll see a banner with a yellow “Create Free Account” prompting you to sign up.
- Create an account. I chose to click the yellow icon and create my own account. However, you can register through a preexisting Google, Facebook, or Apple account by clicking the icons.
- Agree to the terms. You will need to check some boxes to confirm that you’re over 18 and not located in a restricted state, as well as agree to the terms of service and privacy policy. It can be tempting to gloss over these, but I suggest reviewing them carefully to avoid any misunderstandings down the line.
- Verify your email. Following this, I was sent a confirmation email that was waiting in my inbox as soon as I opened it. It contained a link that I had to confirm my account. If the email isn’t in your inbox, it’s worth checking your spam.
- Fill out your profile. Now, you can use TaoFortune and fill out the rest of your profile. Go to “Account” and click “Add Personal Info.” You’ll need to add your first name, last name, date of birth, and ZIP code, which must match your official ID document. This isn’t required to play games right away but is if you want to redeem prizes down the line. For that reason, I recommend getting it out of the way early.
What I Liked and Disliked About TaoFortune
TaoFortune shines in terms of fast redemptions, customer service, and its unique selection of Plinko games. It also has a number of fun and interesting promotions like a Piggy Bank, tournaments, prize drops, scratch cards, and more.
On the flip side, there are a few areas where TaoFortune could improve. I didn’t like how there’s a minimum restriction of 25 Winnings from free Secret Coins. It’s also missing important features like table games, live dealers, a responsible gaming page, and a phone number.

My Thoughts on the Game Selection at TaoFortune

TaoFortune has a collection of over 750 games, including slots, jackpots, Plinko, and fishing games. While it certainly has enough titles to keep slot fans happy, I was disappointed that there wasn’t any table or live dealer games.
The library features games from Betsoft, BGaming, Booming Games, Evoplay, Fantasma Games, Octoplay, NetGame, Pragmatic Play, and Spadegaming.
If you’re familiar with A1 Development’s other sites, like Funrize or Fortune Wheelz, you’ll notice a similar lineup of games here. This might be a downside if you’re looking for something completely new. However, finding the same titles across different sweepstakes casinos is typical anyway.
Slots
TaoFortune specializes in slot gaming with over 740 titles. While it isn’t the largest library I’ve seen in sweepstakes gaming, it still holds its own against leading competitors. For example, RealPrize has a selection of over 350, while Fortune Coins has over 460 slots.
All kinds of slots are available in this library. You can explore a selection of 26 jackpot games with popular titles like Ranch Life, Farmer Bill, and Cleo’s Heart. I also saw 55 Hold ‘N’ Links and 12 Megaways slots. The variety of different formats and features is impressive.
I spent most of the time playing the games in the “Weekly Top 10” category to experience the most popular slots on the site. A few favorites of mine were Cai Shen’s Palace Hold ‘N’ Link, Halloween Harvest Rapid Link, Cactus Riches Cash Pool, and San Chong Baozha Bonus Combo.
I had the most luck with Cai Shen’s Palace Hold ‘N’ Link. I set my play level to 200 TC and settled in for a short time. It didn’t take long before I’d activated the Hold ‘N’ Link bonus round, where I managed a huge win of 6,000 TC.
Fishing Games
You won’t find any live dealers or table games at TaoFortune, but there are some fishing games. Players can enjoy a selection of six titles, including Candy Heroes, Galaxy Fishing, Fishing Kingdom Remastered, Thunder Fishing, Fishing Kingdom, and Ice & Fire Fishing.
These fishing games are a good change of pace from the usual slot game. They provide more intense gameplay, where you aim and shoot to collect coins. They’re a blast, but I did find that they ate through my balance pretty fast.
During a brief period playing Candy Heroes, I saw a big chunk of my TC disappear without much to show for it. So, I’d recommend sticking with slots to extend your playtime since they’re more forgiving on your coins.
Other Games
TaoFortune also has a selection of 12 Plinko titles, which I was pleasantly surprised by. This game involves dropping a ball or disc from the top of a pyramid and watching while it falls down into various pockets that have different prizes.
I was impressed by how many options there were for different themes, such as Olympus Plinko, PlinkGoal, Plinko Rush, Uplinko, Prospector’s Plinko, Plinko XY, Plinko Easter, Plinko Empire, and Xmas Plinko. Like the fishing games, they provided a refreshing break from slot gaming.
TaoFortune’s Payment and Redemption Experience
At TaoFortune, you can play games without spending any money, as it is based on a free-to-play model where Tao Coins and Secret Coins are handed out through promotions. For instance, when I joined TaoFortune, I was given a starting bonus of 250,000 TC and 100 SC. There are also daily rewards through the “Magic Boxes.”
Although you can go about gaming without ever spending money, it is possible to purchase Tao Coins. Each purchase of Tao Coins comes with a complimentary bonus of Secret Coins.
I found that the payment methods were fairly typical, similar to those offered at other sweepstakes casinos. However, the redemption process differs from that of competitors in both good and bad ways.
While I was frustrated by the restriction on redeemable Winnings from free SC, it was impressive to see a selection of different methods for redemption.
TaoFortune Payment Details | |
Payment methods | Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay |
Minimum purchase | $4.99 |
Minimum prize redemption | 25 Winnings for Gift Cards, 50 Winnings for ACH Transfer, 100 Winnings for PayPal and Debit Cards |
Prize redemption time | Few hours with PayPal, 1 to 2 days with Debit Cards, 3 to 4 days with ACH Transfer |
Payments
Players can purchase Tao Coins using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or Apple Pay. Typically, the selection of payment methods at sweepstakes casinos is limited. For comparison, Funrize has four methods, RealPrize has five options, and Ding Ding Ding has six.
While bank cards and Apple Pay are both solid options, seeing a wider range of payment methods at TaoFortune would be great, such as e-wallets, bank transfers, or even cryptocurrencies.
In terms of cost, the smallest package starts at $4.99 for 50,000 TC, and the largest one is $99.99 for 1,000,000 TC. I was happy to see TaoFortune cater to lower-budget players, but I thought they could accommodate high rollers more. Other sites have packages that go up to hundreds of dollars.
There’s always a special deal on offer where you get more bang for your buck. For my first purchase, I went with the $19.99 package for 600,000 TC, originally $40. It was straightforward to make the purchase with my Visa debit card. I simply entered my card number, full name, and billing address, then clicked “Pay,” and my coins were instantly ready in my account.
Here’s how to purchase Tao Coins.
- Click the yellow “Buy” icon in the top-right corner.
- Choose a TC package.
- Select your payment method.
- Enter your banking details.
- Confirm your purchase through your bank’s app or wallet (if needed).
As well as Visa debit cards, Mastercard is also accepted. For credit cards, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover can be used. However, my preferred option for purchases was Apple Pay. There’s no need to enter any banking information; just a quick double click and Face ID is enough to process your payment. The downside is that it is only available for iPhone users.
Redemptions
Secret Coins turn into Winnings when won through gameplay. Winnings can be redeemed for cash prizes or gift cards. 1 Winning has the same value of $1 in prizes.
What frustrated me about redemptions is that if you get Secret Coins through promotions, you can only redeem up to 25 Winnings. For example, say that you receive 100 SC through Magic Boxes or other promos, and you play them through, and it becomes 50 Winnings. When you go to redeem it, you’ll only receive $25.
Redemption thresholds vary based on the method you choose. For gift cards, available through Prizeout, the minimum is 25 Winnings. This is similar to other sites, but I have seen gift card redemptions at as low as 10 SC.
If you want cash prizes, the minimum increases: 50 Winnings are required for ACH transfer, while it is 100 Winnings for PayPal and debit cards. This was a shame, as I preferred using PayPal or debit cards because they’re quicker, but it takes a while to rack up 100 Winnings.
I was impressed by the variety of redemption methods. Most sweepstakes casinos keep it simple with one or two methods, but at TaoFortune, there are four options.
My first time requesting a redemption, I went with PayPal. It only took four hours for the request to be approved and available in my PayPal account. Following this, I managed to try out the rest of the methods, which meant lots of gaming and a few more purchases.
Here’s how to make redemption:
- Verify your account.
- Collect Secret Coins.
- Click “Buy” and then “Redeem.”
- Choose your redemption method.
- Enter the amount you want to redeem.
- Wait for processing.
Gift cards are the fastest way to receive a prize. It was sent to me through email in just a couple of hours. ACH transfer, on the other hand, is the slowest method, taking nearly four days. If you choose a debit card redemption through Visa or Mastercard, it’ll only take a day or two. Just make sure that you’ve used that card for purchases before trying to redeem.

Overall User Experience – Is TaoFortune Fun to Play At?
TaoFortune’s website is sleek and modern and has an intuitive design, making it a breeze to find your way around. I do think that there is room for improvement in terms of decluttering the interface. Plus, there isn’t a mobile app, which is disappointing for on-the-go players.
Desktop
The theme at TaoFortune left me a bit puzzled. Given its name, I expected an Asian theme, and the Red Panda mascot scattered throughout the site suggested this. However, the promotions are mostly based around outer space, or else just random themes.
It’s interesting, to say the least. I’m not entirely sure what’s going on, and it lacks any cohesive theme to tie it all together. It doesn’t have a strong brand identity like other A1 Development sweepstakes casinos.
Sometimes, I felt a little overwhelmed while using the site. There are pop-ups, a recent winners bar, and tabs sticking out all over the interface, making it a bit too busy for my liking. I also wasn’t a fan of the negative space on either side; small things like that can make a site feel unpolished.
That said, I had no trouble with the layout or organization. For those who’ve played on A1 Development’s other platforms, the setup will be recognizable, but each site has its own unique design. This is good because you get the familiarity of a user-friendly layout without the feeling that you’re just going from one identical site to another.
At the top of the platform, you can switch between TC and SC mode, as well as see your balance. On the left-hand side, there’s a hideaway menu with the main features of the site. You can easily access the live chat by clicking the icon in the bottom right corner.
It was also straightforward to explore the gaming menu, as it is sorted into various categories. There’s a scrolling bar with the main ones where you can view titles by popularity, new, type, features, and themes. While there is a category for Pragmatic Play, I would have liked it if there was the option to sort by all the game providers.
If you have a specific title in mind, you can use the search bar to find it. I also appreciated the “Favorites” section, where you can add games for quick access.
Mobile
TaoFortune is accessible through your phone on a mobile browser. There isn’t a dedicated mobile app, which is a letdown but not unusual for a sweepstakes casino.
Like the website, I found it busy when using my phone. Since the screen is smaller, it felt even more overwhelming, with different features competing for my attention. The main difference between the desktop and mobile site is that there’s a bar at the bottom with the main features and menu.
What I did enjoy about using my mobile browser was the unbeatable convenience. I could play a quick game or check my account with just a few clicks. It felt much easier than having to boot up a computer or carry around my laptop. So, if you prefer gaming on the go, I would recommend it. Still, I’d like to see a dedicated app down the line to streamline the mobile experience.
Is the Customer Support Any Good?
Yes, I was happy with the quality of assistance that I received on TaoFortune. Customer support can be contacted through email and live chat..
First off, I always check out the FAQ section to see if it can answer any of my questions. So, it was a letdown to find that TaoFortune doesn’t have a dedicated page. Instead, when using the live chat, you’ll initially be connected with a chatbot that functions similarly to a Help Centre by suggesting answers to your questions, based on keywords you’ve used.
If it doesn’t answer your query, you can choose to be connected with a live agent. No matter when I used the live chat, I was instantly connected with an agent. During my week-long period, I frequently used the live chat as I had a lot of questions.
There’s a lack of information on TaoFortune, which meant I had no choice but to reach out to support. This was a little frustrating as they could solve this with a basic FAQ page.
Every agent I spoke to on the live chat was polite and helpful. They replied to my questions quickly, and it felt just like messaging with a friend. There were a couple of occasions when it seemed like they didn’t have all the information to fully assist me, but overall, it was a positive experience.
Additionally, it’s always a bonus for me when a sweepstakes casino offers a live chat to all players. Sometimes, it can be restricted by VIP level or is only available after a purchase.
Because of how easy and fast it was to use the live chat, I never felt the need to use the email. However, I did send one off just to test it out. Their response arrived within a few hours. This turnaround is quick for email support, but it doesn’t match the instantaneity of live chat. It’s a practical alternative for those who prefer to send a quick email and continue their day without waiting for a real-time reply.
TaoFortune has the following support options:
- 24/7 Live Chat
- Email ([email protected])
The only thing missing is a phone number so that players can speak directly to an agent. This would be better for more complex issues and feels more personal than online communication. Overall, however, I was more than satisfied with my experience with TaoFortune’s customer support.
Is TaoFortune Trustworthy?
Yes, TaoFortune is a well-known sweepstakes casino that has been around since 2022. It is legally available in 45 states. So, although it doesn’t have a traditional gambling license, it adheres to sweepstakes laws and regulations. Plus, it is owned by A1 Development, which is a leading operator in sweepstakes gaming.
Games are powered by top software providers, who use Random Number Generators (RNGs) to ensure results are fair and completely random. When it comes to player safety, the personal and financial information of players is protected by advanced encryption. It also has a thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) process, requiring players to verify their identity, age, and state with specific documents.
Who Owns TaoFortune?
TaoFortune is owned by A1 Development, the same company behind leading sweepstakes casinos like Funrize, NoLimitCoins, FunzCity, and Fortune Wheelz. Not much is known about the company itself on the web besides the fact that it’s recognized for managing well-known sweepstakes casinos.
What Do the Reviews Say?
TaoFortune has a solid rating of 3.8 on TrustPilot from users based on 577 reviews. It is worth noting that TaoFortune itself advertises an outdated rating on its website, if you are wondering about the discrepancy.
Out of these reviews, most players have rated TaoFortune highly, with 57% giving it a full five stars. Many of them praise the selection of games and customer service.
On the flip side, 21% of reviews give the platform 1-star. Most of the issues are with the restricted redemptions on free SC, which I was also frustrated by. Unfortunately, TaoFortune isn’t active on TrustPilot, so these complaints remain unanswered.
Are There Any Responsible Gaming Resources?
I was disappointed that TaoFortune doesn’t have specific tools for managing activity or a dedicated responsible gaming page. Even though it is a sweepstakes casino, players can spend real money and win prizes. It lacks any dedicated resources to help users manage their gaming responsibly.
When I looked for ways to set limits on my activity, I found nothing directly accessible and ended up reaching out to customer support. They informed me that it’s possible to establish spending limits or opt for self-exclusion. It was frustrating that there aren’t proactive tools you can set for your gaming, and you have to go through customer support for the ones that are available.
TaoFortune falls short in creating a responsible gaming environment, showing a gap in its commitment to play safety and well-being. This could be majorly improved, as I’ve seen comprehensive responsible gaming resources at other sweepstakes casinos.
What’s the Difference Between TaoFortune and a Real Money Casino?
TaoFortune is a sweepstakes casino where virtual currency is used to play games, differing from real-money casinos. This setup allows it to function legally in various states where standard online casinos are restricted. At sweepstakes casinos, players don’t deposit real money but instead play games with Gold Coins (Tao Coins) and Sweeps Coins (Secret Coins).
In contrast, real-money casinos are legal in only a few states, where actual cash is used to play games, and winnings can be directly withdrawn. However, at TaoFortune, players must play through Secret Coins and turn them into Winnings before they can be redeemed for cash prizes or gift cards.
Promotions are plentiful at sweepstakes casinos like TaoFortune, which are structured around a free-to-play model. These platforms emphasize free gaming over winning money, so they provide players with coins at no cost.

How We Rate Sweepstakes Casinos
Our rating approach is deeply personal and thorough. We spend a week at each sweepstakes casino, just like any regular player would, fully experiencing the platform and sharing our honest impressions. To make things easier to understand, we use our rating system tailored for sweepstakes casinos.
We spend at least two hours on the following five key areas:
- Bonuses & Promotions: We examine all the promotions offered, from claiming no-deposit bonuses to participating in tournaments and logging for daily rewards. We tell you exactly how to receive these bonuses and compare them against those of competitors.
- Games: This is the fun part! We play a wide range of games, including slots, live dealers, and table games, and we look for an extensive and high-quality collection. We also like to see a selection of leading software providers who supply games.
- Payment Options: We purchase Gold Coins (Tao Coins) and try out all the payment methods available, whether credit cards, debit cards, e-wallets, or bank transfers. We also go through the redemption process and test out those methods, assessing how convenient and fast they are.
- User Experience: We explore the platform’s performance on both desktop and mobile. Is it easy to use? Does it have a distinctive style? Is the game’s lobby and interface well-organized? Is it better suited for beginners or more experienced players? We also test out any available apps.
- Customer Support: We reach out to support through all available channels, whether email, phone, or live chat, evaluating how fast, helpful, and polite they are. Sweepstakes casinos that offer a 24/7 live chat to all players earn extra points from us.

Would I Recommend TaoFortune?
I would recommend TaoFortune. There are a lot of things that I enjoyed about the site, but I do think there are a few drawbacks.
A big highlight was the promotions. For one, it excels in fun and interesting promos like the Tao Club, Magic Boxes, Piggy Bank, and Super Scratchers, as well as standard ones like first-purchase discounts, refer-a-friend, tournaments, prize drops, and mail-in requests. However, I didn’t like how many of them were centered around purchases.
The library is great for slot gaming, and I was pleasantly surprised to see some fishing games and Plinko. However, this didn’t make up for the lack of live dealers and table games.
I was impressed to see that PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, ACH transfer, and gift cards were available for redemptions. The processing time for PayPal and debit cards was also speedier than I’m used to for most cash redemptions.
However, my biggest criticism by far is only being allowed to redeem a maximum of 25 Winnings from free SC acquired through promotions. It really affects the potential for redeeming prizes, and I’d love to see this requirement removed.
Customer support was excellent, thanks to the round-the-clock live chat, which provides immediate assistance. All of my interactions with the team were positive. A minor improvement would be the addition of a phone number to speak directly to an agent.
I also was disappointed that there wasn’t a responsible gaming page or more tools for managing activity.
Overall, there is plenty to like about TaoFortune, and reason enough to try it for yourself.
