The Spree sign up offer is one of the more generous that I’ve come across in sweepstakes gaming. After joining the site, I never really felt like I was running out of Gold Coins, which is exactly what you’d want from a welcome bonus.

Spree provides you with a huge 1,000,000 GC and 2.5 SC just for creating an account and verifying your email. Looking at competitors, RealPrize gives out 100,000 GC and 2 SC, while Funrize provides 125,000 TC (GC) and 300 PE (3 SC).

Sweepstakes casinos don’t tend to offer much in the way of SC, typically around 1 to 3 SC. So, the amount of SC in Spree’s case is fairly standard. Some sites do go over this number, like Zula Casino, which gives out 10 SC.

In terms of Gold Coins, Spree is knocking it out of the park with 1,000,000 GC in the welcome bonus.  The standard amount is around 100,000 to 300,000 GC. Finding a competitor who beats that in their sign-up bonus is hard.

New players can get a discount on their first purchase. You can get 30,000 GC for $9.99 with 30 free SC. Usually, this package would be $29.99. I claimed this deal myself after signing up. It was a nice boost, particularly for my SC, although I felt I had more than enough GC already because of the welcome bonus.

I’d say this is a great option if you plan to play with SC, but less so if you’re a GC player.

Daily Bonus

Every day, you can get a bonus of 2,000 GC and 0.4 SC. This bonus consistently kept my gaming sessions going whenever I ran low on coins, which, granted, took a while for the GC. I appreciated how straightforward and reliable it is; there’s no need to jump through any hoops. You can claim this bonus by clicking the “Claim Daily Bonus” button in the left-hand menu. It’ll be immediately added to your stash.

Tournaments

Spree has two tournaments that are held throughout the week. I love a bit of competition, so it was fun to go up against other players. On Tuesday, Spree holds a tournament where you have the chance to win SC by playing certain slots.  Players have to place a minimum of 0.1 SC on the tournament games to qualify.

Your position on the leaderboard is determined by points based on the highest win multiplier. For example, if you spin 2 SC and win 50 SC, the multiplier is 25x (50/2), so you’ll get 25 points. Only your highest multiplier score will count. There is a prize pool of 2,000 SC split between the top 200 players.

During the weekend, there is a “Power Play” tournament. The same rules apply as previously, except the prize pool of 5,000 SC is split between 450 players.

I jumped into both these tournaments during the week I spent on Spree. I didn’t make it into the prize positions, but I definitely had a lot of fun trying.

Spinvasion

Spree has an ongoing promotion where you can get free spins just for playing gaming. Players have to make a minimum spin of 0.10 SC on qualifying slots. With every spin, there is a random chance that you can win the free spins. All of these spins are worth 0.20 SC.

For February, this promotion was available once a week during the month. I tried it out during the week I tested Spree, but I didn’t manage to get any free spins, although it was a good way to try out a few games that I wouldn’t typically choose.

Refer-A-Friend

Inviting a friend to join Spree will earn you a reward. You’ll receive 10 SC for each referral. You can participate by sharing your unique link on the “Refer A Friend to Spree” page under “Events.” Here, you can monitor the number of people you’ve referred and the SC you’ve earned from these referrals.

For the referral bonus to be activated, both you and your friend’s account must be verified, and your friend must make a minimum purchase of $15. The best part is there’s no limit on how many friends you can invite, so that’s unrestricted potential rewards. Spree even suggests sharing the link on social media so you can benefit from random people joining the site.

Social Media Giveaways

On Spree’s social media, players can participate in giveaways for the chance to win free GC and SC. I didn’t manage to win any of the ones that I’ve participated in. These giveaways revolve around answering a question in the comments or completing a task to enter.

For example, I entered one by following Spree and simply commenting on the post. They were giving away 1,000 SC to the players. So, they’re definitely worth it. Another post I saw was a “Spot the Difference” game. Spree’s giveaways are active on their Instagram, X, and Facebook.

Mail-In Requests

Similar to other sweepstakes casinos, Spree allows you to get SC by sending a handwritten request to their official address. This request should include your full name, return address, email address, a statement of request, the Spree website URL, and a unique request code. You can find your request code on the “Sweepstakes Rules” page of their website, where you can find exact information on how to write your card. After your request is processed and approved, you will be credited with 4 SC.

Spin Rush Tournament – Win a Share of 5,000 SC

Spree players can take part in the Spin Rush Tournament, running from March 3, 2025, at 12 AM PT to March 6, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT. With a prize pool of 5,000 SC, this competition rewards players who land the highest win multipliers across a selection of 24 qualifying games.

How It Works:

My Experience Opening an Account at Spree

Signing up to Spree only took me a few minutes, as I just had to fill out my personal information and verify my email.

Here’s a step-by-step guide:

• Load the website. Firstly, go to the Spree website on your phone and laptop. When I signed up, I was using my laptop as I prefer the bigger screen for gaming. However, if you prefer the convenience of using your phone, the process is exactly the same.
• Choose a registration method. Next, click the yellow “Sign Up” button at the top-right corner. You can choose to sign up through email or a preexisting Apple account. I chose to sign up through email because I like to keep my accounts separate.
• Fill out the form. If you create an account, you’ll need to provide your email and create a password. Then, you simply have to agree to the terms and that you’re over 18. It’s important to go over the terms and conditions to know exactly what you’re signing up for, even if it can be annoying to read.
• Confirm email. Following this, I was sent an email with a link that activated my account. I clicked this and was taken back to the site. I was then able to use my welcome bonus to check out the collection of games.

What I Liked and Disliked About Spree

The highlights of my Spree review were the number of slots from various software providers and the ongoing promotions. I liked how varied the slot collection is, and it was great to have so many promotions to participate in and receive free GC and SC.

There were a few things that I found needed improvement. There’s no way to directly speak to the agent, as there isn’t a live chat or phone number. The purchase and redemption process isn’t the best, either.

My Thoughts on the Game Selection at Spree

Spree has a huge collection of over 1,570 games, including tons of slots and a handful of live dealer games.

If you’re a fan of slots, it is one of the best libraries available on the market. However, it isn’t the most diverse collection that I’ve seen; it could benefit from table games, specialty titles, and more live dealer options.

Games are supplied by a whopping 31 software providers, including big names supplying plenty of classics I’d played before on other sites, like Pragmatic Play and Novomatic. At the same time, there is also a good selection of less-established providers, like Koala and Spinomenal, which gave me the chance to to play brand new games.

Slots take center stage at Spree with over 1,560 titles. This collection is on par with leading competitors like High 5 Casino, which also has over 1,500 slots. The most popular slots on the site include 3 Coin Volcanoes, Sugar Rush 1000, Majestic Wild Buffalo, and Coin Up Hot Fire.

On top of this, Spree has a selection of 31 exclusive games specifically made for the site. My favorite was Spree Gold; it felt like there were hardly any spins where I didn’t win something. Whenever I ran low on coins near the end of the week, I’d go back to this game to build up my stash again.

The variety of slots is impressive, thanks to a selection powered by 31 software providers. There is a great balance between leading developers and newer names. I could play familiar favorites from Pragmatic Play, Novomatic, and Relax Gaming, as well as explore fresh titles from Jelly, Redrake Gaming, and Revolver Gaming.

Multiplayer Slots: Sit & Spin

Spree has introduced Sit & Spin, a multiplayer slot game developed by Hungry Bears. This game pits three players against each other in free play battles lasting around two minutes. If you want something slightly different from slots, Spree has a selection of 15 Slingo titles. These games are essentially a mix of slots and Bingo. You’ll get a Bingo card with numbers, and underneath is a slot reel. You spin this reel to match the numbers on your card. While I didn’t have much luck with my Slingo sessions, they also didn’t make a big dent in my coin stash. This allowed me to play for a while without worrying too much about using up my GC.

Live Dealers

Spree has a selection of five live dealer games, including baccarat, roulette, and blackjack. These titles are supplied by Iconic 21. Although it is quite small, I appreciated that they at least have a few options, as many sweepstakes casinos don’t offer any live dealer games.

All of the games can be played for free at Spree, as you’re given GC and SC for no cost through promotions. After registering, I received a bonus of 1,000,000 GC and 2.5 SC, which was more than enough for my gaming.

For my first purchase, I chose the first-purchase offer that I mentioned earlier. I used my Visa debit card, which was simple. All I had to do was enter my card number and CVV, just like any online transaction. After I’d confirmed my payment, my GC and free bonus of SC were credited to my balance. You can also use Mastercard.

Here’s how to make a purchase:

4. Confirm the transaction in your banking app (if needed).

While I was using my iPhone, I could use Apple Pay. It was quick and easy, requiring only a double-click and authentication with Face ID. There’s no need to enter banking information. However, it is exclusively for iPhone users.

Redemptions

Spree Coins won through gameplay can be redeemed for cash prizes or gift cards. 1 Spree Coin has the same value as $1. A minimum of 10 SC is required for gift cards, while it is 100 SC for a cash prize. I was happy to see that the minimum was so low for gift cards, making them accessible to all players.

Cash prizes are processed through bank transfer exclusively. While this is common for sweepstakes casinos, I’d like to see other options, like debit cards, e-wallets, or cryptocurrencies. The issue with bank transfers is that they tend to have a longer processing time than other methods.

For my first redemption, I went for the gift card, as it didn’t take me too long to collect 10 SC. This was sent to my email within an hour. Later during the week, I managed to play through 100 SC so that I could receive a cash prize. I provided my bank details, and it was processed to my account in three days.

Overall User Experience – Is Spree Fun to Play At?

Spree offers a clean, neat, and modern platform that is perfect for beginners. The focus is on gaming, which I appreciate, but I wouldn’t recommend it to more experienced players who might want a feature-rich site. You can access Spree only through its website, as it doesn’t have a mobile app.

Desktop

Spree keeps things simple and sleek. Although the design is pretty plain, which usually means it’s easy to use, I personally do miss the excitement that a more fun theme brings to the table.

It’s easy to find your around, making it a solid pick if you’re after a hassle-free sweepstakes casino. There’s a menu on the left-hand side with all of the main features. Here, you can also view your GC and SC balance. At the bottom of the site, there is the technical stuff like the terms, privacy policy, and responsible gaming.

I appreciated how many categories there are, particularly the thematic ones. It was useful to be able to sort by software provider under the “Game Studios” category. However, I do think a couple were unnecessary. For example, there is both “Brand New” and “Just Added,” which is redundant.

All of the slots that I played loaded quickly and were free from any issues. However, I did experience lagging with the live dealer games. I liked how you click on the small icon on each game for quick information, including a description, minimum spin, maximum spin, and volatility.

You can also select the heart icon to save games in the “For You” category for quick access. If you have a specific title in mind, you can use the search bar at the top of the lobby.

Mobile

Spree can be accessed on your phone through a mobile browser, as it doesn’t have its own app. While it is disappointing there isn’t an app, I wasn’t surprised as sweepstakes casinos don’t tend to offer them.

That said, you can still access the website on your phone, providing a smooth and convenient experience. The only difference between the desktop and mobile sites is that the menu has moved from the left side to the bottom of the screen.

Is the Customer Support Any Good?

Customer support can be contacted by submitting a request in the Help Center. I was disappointed that I couldn’t message or talk directly to an agent. There is definite room for improvement in this area.

Firstly, I always check the Help Centre to see how useful it is. Spree’s one can be accessed at the bottom of the main menu on the left-hand side. There were a few helpful FAQs, but they didn’t have the detailed information that I was looking for.

I decided to contact customer support for my remaining queries. I could do this in the same section by clicking “Submit a request” in the top right corner. I had to select the topic of my inquiry, email, and account number.

Your account number is hidden away under “Profile,” then “My Account,” and “Personal Information.” It doesn’t feel like they’re making it easy to communicate with an agent. Next, I selected my issue, which prompted related FAQs to pop up. I ignored this as I’d already gone through them and entered the description of my query.

After sending this off, I received a reply after 20 minutes, which impressed me. Usually, you have to wait a few hours for email support. It doesn’t beat the immediacy of a live chat or phone number, but it is the next best thing. The agent who replied was professional and polite, providing me with clear and comprehensive information.

I sent a follow-up email with more questions and received a response in just under 30 minutes. It was good to be able to continue communication in this way rather than submitting a request each time. In fact, you can avoid the ticket request form altogether, if you prefer, by emailing [email protected] directly.

While I was impressed with Spree’s email support, it just doesn’t compare to a live chat. Many sweepstakes casinos offer this now, so Spree is falling behind competitors. There also isn’t a phone number, so this is a gap to be filled in being able to speak directly with the support.
