If you are happy to spend money at Mega Bonanza, it’s a no brainer, in my opinion.

I didn’t manage any wins myself, but Mega Bonanza say you can expect to receive prizes within 72 hours of the tournament’s conclusion every Thursday.

GC and SC Jackpots on Any Spin

All slots at Mega Bonanza have site-wide progressive jackpots attached: Hourly, Daily and Mega.

GC players can win any of these jackpots on any spin, automatically. If you’re playing with SC, you’ll need to opt into SC jackpots during gameplay. This will cost an extra 0.10 SC per spin.

The top Mega jackpot peaked at 128,743.47 SC during my review. If somebody does get to the jackpot before you, they reseed at 20 million GC or 50,000 free SC.

The Hourly SC jackpots routinely crack 200 SC, and I noticed the Daily SC jackpot drop at 3,880.9 SC. However, the Mega SC Jackpot can grow to reach 500,000 SC before it “must be won.”

Refer-A-Friend Bonus

Mega Bonanza’s referral bonus promises up to 130,000 GC and 65 free SC for each friend that you invite. After they sign up with your referral link, get KYC-verified, and buy over $30 worth of GC, you’ll receive 30,000 GC and 15 free SC.

As they continue playing, you’ll get another 100,000 GC and 50 free SC if they make purchases worth $500 or more. While I appreciate the bonus, I’m not a fan of how much your friends are required to buy before you get a bonus.

I sent my link to a co-worker, who signed up and completed their verification process on my behalf. I got the bonus coins, but only after I reached out to customer support the following day.

Social Media Giveaways

Mega Bonanza hosts regular social media giveaways on Facebook, Instagram, and X. I followed their brand on all three platforms to do my own research. They often post trivia questions, ask for user feedback, and require players to leave a comment in hopes of winning 40,000 GC and 20 SC.

They normally select ten winners per event, and they post new giveaway announcements every three or four days. If you’re not following them on socials, you’re missing out on the chance to pick up free coins.

Mail-in Offers

Mega Bonanza accepts mail-in SC requests from players. Section 3.2.9 of their Sweepstakes Rules explains the steps you’ll have to follow. In order to qualify, each letter must contain your name, their site’s URL, your return address, and a unique Sweepstakes Coins Request Code.

You’ll need to get a new request code for each envelope you plan on submitting, and they offer a link to generate codes within their Sweepstakes Rules. From the moment you request a new sweeps code, you’ll have 60 days to make sure your envelopes reach their registered address.

They credit your account with 4 free SC for each envelope they accept, which is fair in my book.

My Experience Opening an Account at Mega Bonanza

It took me just five minutes to create a new account with Mega Bonanza and receive free coins. Here are the steps I followed to sign up, verify my email, and claim 7,500 GC and 2.5 free SC:

• Visit Mega Bonanza’s website: Go to Mega Bonanza’s website and click the red “Sign Up” button.
• Choose your registration option: Choose your registration method on the next page. You can register with your Google credentials, but I made a new account with my email.
• Enter your personal info: Enter your email address and create a new password. Type your first and last name before choosing your state of residence and date of birth from the drop-down menus.

What I Liked and Disliked About Mega Bonanza

Mega Bonanza’s weekly tournaments, social media giveaways, and site-wide jackpots were all highlights during the week I spent testing their platform. However, I’d like to see them add more virtual tables and improve their customer support options.

My Thoughts on the Game Selection at Mega Bonanza

Mega Bonanza has 990 slots, 19 progressive jackpots and seven live dealer tables from 18 software companies. It’s an excellent selection of games, ideal for jackpot hunters and with tons of natural variation thanks to the variety of software providers. I love the combination of classic games and providers, like Pragmatic Play, along with newer companies like Gaming Realms.

The main thing missing is virtual table games, although the presence of live dealer games makes up for this somewhat. I also didn’t see speciality games, such as Dice and Hi-Lo. While these are both avenues Mega Bonanza could explore in the future, I’m more than happy with the games on offer as it is.

Slots

Slots are the main order of the day at Mega Bonanza, with just under a thousand diverse and fun games on the menu.

Even with such a large menu, I found it fairly easy and natural to navigate the menu. They’ve organized their slots according to popularity, category, and feature. I was able to pull up their newest releases, Cascading reels, Megaways, and Hold & Win games using the top menu.

Click “Show All” next to “Providers” to view a list of their software providers. You can view all the games from each company by opening the corresponding icon – which is helpful given there are 18 different software providers represented.

I’ve touched on this already, but I love the fact that there are progressive jackpots on offer for every single game on the menu – free for GC players, and at an extra cost of 0.10 for SC spins. As if that weren’t enough, there are 19 separate progressive jackpots provided by Pragmatic Play.

Theoretically, you could win both on the same spin! Although I wouldn’t like to know the math on that.

Elemental Gems Megaways, a medium-volatility Asian slot game from Pragmatic Play, was one of my highlights. I spun for a top prize of 5,000x as I took in all the sights and sounds across the Pacific. Each spin felt realistic, and I found the artwork in the background to be a nice touch for this game.

I also enjoyed Laughing Buddha. As the name implies, this Habanero-sponsored machine features a jolly golden statue as the main protagonist. I earned 405 GC on my first spin after landing a double wild symbol.

Mega Bonanza doesn’t host any virtual table games at the moment. If you want to play virtual poker, blackjack, craps, and solitaire against the computer, I’d recommend signing up with Chumba Casino.

Live Dealer Games

Mega Bonanza works with Beter Live (Iconic 21) and Playtech to host seven live dealer options. Live games are fairly uncommon at sweepstakes casinos, so I was happy with this selection.

They’re notably missing roulette and poker, but they host a number of exciting game shows like Adventures Beyond Wonderland and Spin-a-Win. You can also play Buffalo Blitz Live, Sic-Bo, Live Crash, or get back to the classics with Gravity Blackjack.

I was able to play blackjack for a minimum of 5 GC or 1 SC per hand, but high rollers can risk up to 5,000 SC in one round. I was happy with the quality of the game, and I happened to have a particularly friendly and animated dealer – which was a nice addition to the experience.

Live dealer crash-style games are a new one on me, so I also played Crash Live for curiosity’s sake. I was able to submit chips for gameplay, collect my earnings, and view past multipliers at the bottom-left corner of my screen. The rules couldn’t be much simpler. Place your bets, watch the multiplier climb, and cash out before you crash out.

It works pretty much the same as virtual crash games, but the tension is ratcheted up even more when there is a live host narrating the action as the multiplier grows.

Still, it’s possible to purchase GC with a small range of secure payment methods if you’re running low. Mega Bonanza processes gift card redemptions starting from 10 SC, which is great for newbies and those that prefer to limit their spending. You can also request cash prizes via bank transfer.

Payments

Mega Bonanza takes VISA and MasterCard payments almost exclusively. If you’re using an iOS device to access their mobile website, you can pay for your coins with Apple Pay. Their banking options are extremely limited otherwise. I’d like to see them accept AMEX/Discover at the least, but also an e-wallet option like Skrill.

On the bright side, their $1.99 purchase minimum feels beginner-friendly. Making any purchase on the platform unlocks 24/7 chat support alongside access to six exclusive GC games. They’ve got two first purchase discounts that cater to different budgets, priced at $9.99 and $74.99.

I chose to spend $9.99 on Mega Bonanza’s “Mega 1st Purchase Offer,” which would give me 50,000 GC and 25 free SC. I didn’t have any trouble with the payment process, entering my personal info or card details. Mega Bonanza has effectively streamlined the purchase process to mirror any kind of online purchase, just like a site like Amazon.

Here’s how to make your first purchase at Mega Bonanza:

1. Click “Get Coins” at the top of the page while logged in.
2. Select your preferred GC bundle on the following screen.
3. Click “Pay Now” to pay with your VISA or MasterCard.
4. Enter your card number, expiry, CVV code, full name, and billing address.

Later on during the week, I bought 4,000 GC for $1.99 on my iPhone 16 using Apple Pay. This option was even easier to use, as I could enter my passcode to pay with previously linked card information. However, it’s not available on desktop, and Android players won’t be able to use it.

Redemptions

You must win at least 10 SC during gameplay before requesting a prize redemption via gift card. If you want to request a cash prize, you’ll need to win 75 SC during gameplay. I’m happy to see Mega Bonanza offering beginner-friendly redemption minimums on par with McLuck and Chumba.

Any bonus SC you receive as part of a bonus, promotion, or tournament carries 1x playthrough requirements before it can be redeemed for prizes. In other words, you must spend your bonus SC on gameplay once. Each Sweeps Coin won during gameplay holds $1 in redemption value.

I was able to request a gift card prize just a couple of hours after I signed up, thanks to their low minimums. I clicked “Redeem” on Mega Bonanza’s homepage, chose “Redeem Gift Cards” and entered the number of SC I wanted to redeem. They sent a $10 gift card code to my inbox five minutes later.

It took me a little longer to earn 75 SC and qualify for a cash redemption, so I requested another prize later during the week. I was prompted to enter my routing/account information and confirm my personal details. As expected, I found a $75 payment in my checking account 24 hours later.

Here’s how to request your first SC prize redemption at Mega Bonanza:

1. Click “Redeem” while logged into Mega Bonanza.
2. Choose “Redeem Gift Cards” or “Redeem Cash Prize.”
3. If you chose a gift card, pick a retailer and confirm your email address.
4. If you chose a cash prize, enter your routing/account info when asked.
5. Wait for processing and delivery to your email inbox or bank account.

You’ll have to complete Mega Bonanza’s KYC process before your first prize redemption gets approved. I was prompted to upload a picture of my driver’s license, take a selfie, and submit payment verification. I was also asked to provide a photo of my utility bill as proof of address.

In order to be accepted, your documents must be no older than 3 months at the time you send them over. Their team took 12 hours to manually verify my documentation, which is better than the 24-hour waiting period I’ve experienced for a standard KYC review at Chumba and McLuck.

Overall User Experience – Is Mega Bonanza Fun to Play At?

Mega Bonanza is a lot of fun to play at and well designed across the board. I’m a big fan of the Wild Western theme which runs throughout the site, and helps Mega Bonanza stand out from more cookie-cutter casinos.

While they don’t have a downloadable app, I was able to install their “web app” to my iPhone. This gave me instant access to all their best games.

No matter what device you’re choosing to play from, Mega Bonanza promises a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Desktop

Mega Bonanza’s jet-black interface contrasts quite nicely with their range of colorful game icons, and I appreciate how their bonus banners are sized appropriately. They don’t over-promote their tournaments, price discounts or giveaways in the form of annoying pop-ups (à la DingDingDing).

I enjoyed having access to personalized games via the “For You” section, which suggests titles based on past interests. When I did the installation, I was able to view a slightly more polished version of their casino website on my laptop. It looks pretty much the same as the browser version, but without the dozens of other tabs I typically have open!

In my opinion, Mega Bonanza has created a hassle-free experience for beginners, as it couldn’t be much easier to find your way around the website.

Mobile

Although you won’t find Mega Bonanza’s application on the iOS App Store or Google Play, you can install a bookmark to their web app on your smartphone screen. I clicked the square button located in Google Chrome’s address bar and selected “Add to Home Screen” on my iPhone 16.

When I went back to my home screen, I found an icon that brought me to Mega Bonanza’s web app. They haven’t made too many changes between desktop and mobile, which I appreciate for beginners. They’ve maximized screen space with a number of helpful tabs in the bottom menus.

I didn’t experience any lag while spinning through slots and playing live dealer tables on mobile. You can hold your device upright or sideways to participate in gameplay at your own preference.

On the whole, I preferred the larger-screen experience of the laptop, but I like the mobile site too.

Is the Customer Support Any Good?

In my opinion, customer support could be improved at Mega Bonanza. Even though they offer 24/7 live chat support, it’s reserved for players who’ve made at least one GC purchase. I hate this policy, which feels exclusionary.

If you don’t plan on spending money, you’re restricted to getting in touch via direct email and support ticket. They don’t offer social media assistance on Facebook, Instagram or X.

If you have questions about making payments, you can speak with a real agent over the phone. However, their phone line isn’t used for general support.

I emailed [email protected] with a question regarding their KYC, and I got a helpful reply from a real person two hours later.

Their email team responded relatively quickly during the week I spent testing Mega Bonanza, and I was eventually able to speak with chat support after buying GC. As expected, their live chat agents got back to me within seconds of saying hello. Still, I wish I didn’t have to pay for this privilege.

What Do the Reviews Say?

Mega Bonanza has claimed and verified their TrustPilot profile. They boast a 3.5 out of 5 star TrustScore based on 967 reviews. Many users are happy with their quick-responding support team, reliable SC redemptions, and large selection of popular slots.

Less-than-satisfied players complain about delayed SC redemptions and mention issues with getting KYC-verified. I didn’t bump into either problem during testing, so I can’t speak on their experiences. For what it’s worth, I got my $10 gift card five minutes after submitting a request.
