Fliff is a mobile social sportsbook that opened shop in 2019 under the direction of Pennsylvania co-founders Mario Dodev and Matt Ricci. It’s available in 45 U.S. states only on your phone, with tons of the same types of bets you’ll find at real money sportsbooks.

My Fliff review explores their latest bonuses, social sports betting, purchase options, redemption process and more.

Fliff bonuses offer plenty of ways to earn free Fliff Coins and Fliff Cash, which are Fliff Casino’s versions of Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins.

I claimed 5,000 Fliff Coins and 1 Fliff Cash immediately after signing up and verifying my phone. I was able to claim 1,000 Fliff Coins and 0.1 Fliff Cash every two hours, but I was limited to receiving a maximum of 1 Fliff Cash in daily bonuses.

They’re missing a VIP Club and they don’t host social media giveaways, but the sports betting leaderboards and XP points are fun additions to the betting experience, which I haven’t seen on other sportsbooks.

I opted into every bonus at Fliff, and I’m showing you how to do the same.

How I Claimed Fliff’s No-Deposit Bonus

You’ll earn 5,000 Fliff Coins and 1 Fliff Cash after signing up and verifying your phone number with Fliff. Here’s how to get started:

1. I downloaded the Fliff app to my iPhone 16, although they have an Android app too. Fliff doesn’t work with desktop computers.
2. I clicked “Sign Up With Email”, entered my personal information, ticked the box to accept Fliff’s Terms of Use, and clicked “Create Account” to create my new account.
3. I entered my cell phone number when prompted. Then, I entered the unique code I got via SMS. Next, I saw the 5,000 Fliff Coins and 1 Fliff Cash appear in my casino balance.

It couldn’t be much easier, and I was able to start placing bets right away.

How Does the Sign-up Bonus Compare to Other Sweeps Platforms?

The sign-up bonus at Fliff could be improved compared with other social sportsbooks.

I received 5,000 Fliff Coins with 1 Fliff Cash after signing up and confirming my phone number. Most sweeps casinos and sportsbooks give users between 1 – 3 free SC to start, so Fliff is on the lower end of this range.

I’d like to see them follow in the footsteps of Thrillz and Sportzino. I claimed 3,000 GC and 3 SC as a new user at Thrillz. Sportzino sets the standard for competing sportsbooks to follow with an initial bonus of 170,000 GC and 7 free SC.

Instead of handing out free coins once per day, Fliff features drip-style rewards every two hours.

I got 1,000 Fliff Coins and 0.2 Fliff Cash once every two hours while logged in. Fliff caps the total amount you can claim per day, so users can receive up to 5,000 Fliff Coins and 1 Fliff Cash in every 24-hour period.

I toggled over to “Shop” and clicked the purple banner to claim free coins every couple of hours.

While I appreciated never being more than two hours away from a top up, ultimately I would prefer if they just handed out the full amount in one shot every 24 hours. They do this at Sportzino: I got 20,000 GC and 1 free SC every 24 hours.

With Fliff’s model, I found that I ended up with fewer coins overall, since I normally didn’t manage to maximize the offer by being online every two hours. Some days, I got 3,000 Fliff Coins and 0.6 Fliff Cash, while others, I only got 1,000 and 0.2 because I wasn’t online that long.

First Purchase Bonus

Fliff is hosting a 100% first purchase bonus applicable to any package on their menu. I love the flexibility of this offer, so it can be equally valuable for casual players as more experienced ones.

When you first open the store, each deal is marked with “2X” in the top-left corner. However, you can only choose one of the following discounts to use on your initial Fliff Coins purchase:

Refer-A-Friend Bonus

Fliff’s refer-a-friend bonus gives new players up to 10,000 XP for every person that signs up with their unique invitation link. You’ll claim 20 XP for each dollar they spend on Fliff Coins bundles.

XP can be exchanged for Fliff Coins directly, and you can redeem XP for gift cards once you’ve gotten 500 XP. They work with popular brands including Lowe’s, Chipotle, Airbnb, GrubHub and Domino’s. Some brands heighten these requirements, but 500 XP will get your foot in the door.

I toggled “Activity” and “Find Friends” to send a link to my co-worker via SMS. They bought coins for $1.99, and I received 40 XP exactly as promised.

XP is a fun addition to the experience, and I like the way this is the focus of the referral bonus.

Weekly Leaderboards

I’m used to slot leaderboards, but leaderboards for sports betting was a new one for me, so I was intrigued by this promo from Fliff.

The weekly leaderboard contests run over the course of a week. Your wins and losses count towards your level ranking, and each player starts as a Rookie. If you’re in the top 20% of your level (in terms of selection accuracy), you rise to the next level.

As far as I could tell, it didn’t actually matter how much I spent, it was just the accuracy of my predictions that counted towards my ranking – which is good.

If you’re in the bottom 20% of your tier, you drop down a level at the end of the week. You can access your leaderboard status by opening “Account” and clicking the large “Rookie” badge at the center of the page.

Beyond claiming a shiny new badge, I didn’t see any additional rewards lined up for top contestants, which is a definite pity – I expected some Fliff Cash kickbacks if I make it up a level.

Although they call it a leaderboard, this promo really feels somewhere between a traditional leaderboard and a loyalty program. In fact, I’d like to see this program expanded into a VIP Club with active benefits, bonuses, and perks for loyal sports bettors.

Daily Challenges

Every day, Fliff hosts quick and exciting challenges that earn you XP Points. XP Points can be exchanged for Fliff Coins or redeemed for gift cards.

They host five daily challenges worth 2 XP a piece, but you get 5 more XP if you finish them all. Their challenges involve placing sports picks on certain events, creating parlays within selected categories, and betting on straight markets.

I bet on the Boston Celtics to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, which gave me 2 XP instantly after I placed the selection. Whether or not your picks win, you still get the XP, which I think is decent.

100 XP translates to $1 in redemption value, and you need at least 500 XP to get a gift card.

Interestingly, gift cards aren’t listed as a prize redemption option if you’re redeeming Fliff Cash, so XP points are your only route to getting them.

Social Media Giveaways

Fliff maintains a strong presence on Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, but they don’t host giveaways. They limit social media posting to sports-related news and announcements.

I’d like to see them follow in Sportzino’s footsteps with frequent giveaways listed on Instagram, Facebook and X (Twitter). Right now, they’re leaving a lot of potential interactivity on the table.

Mail-in Offers

Fliff takes mail-in requests from their players, but they’re only valid in some states. Players can’t submit handwritten requests for Fliff Cash or receive Fliff Cash as a bonus with purchases in the following 13 U.S. states:

If you don’t live in one of the above states, you can submit handwritten, mailed requests for Fliff Cash. You’ll receive 5 Fliff Cash for each envelope they accept. Each request must contain your full name, user ID, email address, return address, and their quoted statement.

While I think it’s a pity that large swathes of the player pool are excluded from this offer, their work-to-reward ratio is quite fair. 5 Fliff Cash (or Sweeps Coins) is above average for these kinds of offers. I also like that Fliff doesn’t rely on expiring request codes like Chumba Casino and McLuck Casino. They limit requests to 500 Fliff Cash per month, which seems fair enough.

My Experience Opening an Account at Fliff

It took me just five minutes to sign up with Fliff, verify my phone number, and claim free coins. Here’s what I did to get started:

• Access Fliss on mobile: You can visit Fliff’s website on your smartphone and/or tablet, but I downloaded their free iOS application to my iPhone 16. Fliff is not available on desktop computers, so you’ll need a pocket-sized device to get a piece of the action.
• Choose your registration method: On mobile, click “Sign Up” and choose whether you would like to register using Apple, Google, or your email address. I chose “Continue With Email”.
• Enter your personal information: If you’re starting from scratch, create a screen name and enter your date of birth. Enter your email and create a new password.
• Agree to Fliff’s terms: Read the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Sweepstakes Rules using Fliff’s highlighted links. Once finished, tick the box to accept their terms and certify that you’re at least 18 years of age. Click “Create Account” to finalize your new account.
• Verify your phone number: Enter your mobile phone number on the next screen when prompted. Click “Send Code” and enter your unique, six-digit SMS code on their app or website. Click “Continue” and “OK.” You’ll be sent to their sportsbook, where you’ll notice 5,000 Fliff Coins and 1 Fliff Cash in your casino balance.

What I Liked and Disliked About Fliff

Fliff’s free referral package, daily challenges, community chat, and mobile-first design were all highlights during the week I spent testing their platform. However, I think their lack of flexibility for desktop players is an issue.

My Thoughts on the Game Selection at Fliff

Fliff features hundreds of active markets across local, national, and international categories. If the NBA doesn’t scratch your itch, you can switch over to collegiate basketball or broaden your horizons with competitions in Korea or Spain. Tennis coverage spans from Dallas to Abu Dhabi.

Soccer is their most popular category with coverage that ranges from Europe to Latin America. Football and hockey enthusiasts are limited to betting on NFL and NHL markets. Regional boxing, lacrosse, and MMA/UFC markets round out their selection.

They don’t have quite as many odds as Sportzino, which notably covers 41 categories on top of providing casino games. You can visit Fliff’s sister social casino Sidepot and create a new account to play games in between events, but it doesn’t come part and parcel with their user experience.

It’s also worth mentioning here that the available sports and markets do tend to change up over time, depending on what is going on in the world of sport. So you might see additions to the markets I’m describing here down the line.

Sports Betting

Fliff hosts free picks that resemble the depth and scope of your favorite real money sportsbook, at least for a handful of sports.

I do think they could expand their collection to include less-common categories like cricket and darts for eccentric bettors, but Fliff is a shining example of a site that specializes in the basics for the most popular sports.

I like the way they show you moneylines, spreads, and totals upfront without diving deeper into their sports library. It makes it easy to open the platform and immediately hone in on the most popular markets.

Fliff shows you upcoming events up to five days before they take place. Clicking any category on their app shows a list of all associated events. Opening a specific event shows you their available markets. The deeper you go the more exotic the wagers that appear, including 3-way moneylines, halves, and specialty prop bets.

You’ll also see the community chat for that event and access a summary of other players’ picks. These are both great features, which help Fliff feel like a communal experience that you sharing with other players in real time.

I want to shout out their range of Super Bowl props. I was able to wager on the outcome of the initial coin flip and predict whether the Kansas City Chiefs or Philadelphia Eagles would get the ball first. While their props sometimes lack creativity, they bring out all the stops for big games.

Clicking one of the odds brings up your bet slip for a “Quick Pick,” which allows users to place a single wager using Fliff Coins or Fliff Cash. Selecting two (or more) wagers at the same time brings up a new version of their bet slip that supports straight markets, parlays, and SGPs.

You can create same-game parlays using any markets denoted with an “SGP” icon, and the bet slip will tell you if a combination isn’t currently possible. They’ve optimized their parlay tools and bet slip for beginners, so all you have to do is click to add your bets and choose your parlay.

In-Game Betting

You’ll see in-game wagers front and center when you log into your Fliff account. These games are taking place in real-time when they’re presented to you, and I couldn’t resist my chance to bet on the 76ers moneyline during the fourth quarter of a heated match against the Mavericks.

I placed a wager using my final two Fliff Cash, meaning that I’d receive 2.81 Fliff Cash back if my prediction turned out correct. I enjoyed placing in-game bets as they were presented to me, because I never had to wait very long to discover whether I’d won or lost.

While waiting, I opened the chat function to see what other players were saying about the game in real-time. While it was looking grim, the 76ers pulled through with a final score of 118 – 116. It was hilarious to watch everyone cheering (and groaning) as the final score appeared.

You can discover more live markets by clicking “In Play” next to “Home.” Their in-game bets will change depending on what’s in season, but during my review, I bumped into live markets for the most popular NBA, NCAAB, NHL, WNCAA, soccer, and tennis events. They update live scores every five or six seconds..

I’d like to see them support live-streaming going forward, but this is the only feature they’re truly missing as a sportsbook. They hit the nail on the head with excellent coverage for the basics, a wide range of specialty bet types, and beginner-friendly options like their intuitive SGP+ builder.

Fliff Payment and Redemption Experience

You’re not required to purchase coins before placing sports bets on Fliff. Importantly, you will not claim Fliff Cash as a bonus with purchases or be able to mail out handwritten requests if you live in any of their 13 restricted states.

I claimed 5,000 Fliff Coins and 1 Fliff Cash after signing up and confirming my phone number. I also received 1,000 Fliff Coins and 0.1 Fliff Cash every two hours while logged into my account. However, I was restricted to claiming a maximum of 1 Fliff Cash from their hourly login rewards.

If you’re running low on Fliff Coins, you can buy more with real money. You’ll receive double the coins on your first purchase by default, and packages start from $1.99. However, I believe their redemption minimum of 50 Fliff Coins is far too high for beginners.

Payments

Fliff accepts Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Diners Club International, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, and XP Points for purchases. You can also use XP Points to pay for Fliff Coins, at a rate of 100 XP Points per $1.

There is a first purchase award up for grabs for new players.

After making your first purchase, their least expensive package buys you 2,500 Fliff Coins with 2 Fliff Cash for $1.99. At the top end of the menu, you can buy up to 250,000 Fliff Coins and claim 100 Fliff Cash for $99.99. I sprung for their $1.99 boosted bundle with my initial purchase at Fliff.

They’ve made it very easy to purchase coins or exchange your XP Points accordingly. I had to enter my name, card number, and CVV code before completing my purchase.

Mobile payments are even easier than desktop in my opinion: If you’ve set your card information with Apple Pay/Google Pay already, you can save time with one-tap payments.

Even if you’re a total beginner, you shouldn’t have trouble navigating the purchase process. Here’s how I purchased coins at Fliff in less than two minutes:

1. Open the “Shop” section.
2. Choose your preferred package.
3. Click “Instant Purchase” or “Use My Experience Points.”
4. Tap “Continue to Purchase” at the bottom of the page.
5. Select “Instant Bank Transfer” or “Credit or Debit Card.”
6. Select “Credit/Debit Card” or “Apple Pay/Google Pay” from the next screen.
7. Enter your card number, full name, expiry date, and CVV code. Click “Pay.”

I received 5,000 Fliff Coins and 4 Fliff Cash immediately after refreshing the page.

Redemptions

Fliff processes redemptions via both cash transfer and gift cards, but the latter is only available through XP redemptions.

You must win at least 50 Fliff Coins from sports bets to request cash prizes through Skrill, bank transfer, immediate bank transfer via Plaid, or Push-to-Debit. Push-to-Debit is only usable if you own a Visa card, but Skrill and immediate bank transfers guarantee lightning-quick redemptions.

It’s unfortunate that Fliff doesn’t allow gift card redemptions starting at 10 Fliff Cash for low-risk bettors, which is pretty common at other sweeps casinos.

Instead, you can theoretically redeem your XP Points for gift card prizes worth as little as $5, since redemptions start from 500 XP. XP Points can’t be won directly via bets. Instead, you get them through daily challenges and rewards programs.

While I like the addition of XP Points to the overall experience, I do think they should allow players to get gift card prizes via Fliff Cash too.

Any free Fliff Cash you receive through a promotion must be played through once before it can be redeemed for prizes. Just like Sweeps Coins at other sites, Fliff Cash that you earn from bets is redeemable for $1.00 each.

To test out the process, I toggled “Prize Play-Through” and selected “Redeemable” before choosing “Prize Redemption.” If you want, you can use your Fliff Cash to purchase more Fliff Coins and receive free Fliff Cash. To take advantage of this option instead, toggle “Fliff Coin Shop” instead of “Prize Redemption.”

I found the redemption process pretty smooth using my phone. It took me a minute to find the “Prize Redemption” screen, but once I did Fliff guided me through the process nicely.

I requested my first prize via instant bank transfer, entered the number of Fliff Cash I wanted to redeem, and logged in with my bank credentials when prompted. I received my $50 prize three hours later, but if you don’t have same-day banking, you may have to wait a little over 24 hours.

Manual bank transfers, which require your routing and account information, take 1 to 5 working days for processing and delivery. If your bank supports Plaid, I’d suggest going the instant route.

Here’s how to request your first prize redemption at Fliff:

1. Click “Sports” and “Prize Play-Through.”
2. Select “Redeemable” from the next page.
3. Choose “Prize Redemption.”
4. Choose your redemption method from the next screen.
5. Enter the number of Fliff Cash you want to redeem for prizes.
6. Follow their on-screen instructions to submit your information.
7. Wait for delivery to your bank, Visa debit card, or Skrill balance.

Before your first prize redemption gets approved, you’ll be asked to verify your ID with Fliff. They asked me to confirm my email address, submit a photocopy of my driver’s license, and submit a real-time selfie for authentication. My account was entirely KYC-verified in less than one minute, which is impressive.

I like that Fliff doesn’t need endless documentation before sending you the prizes you’re owed. I don’t like that they limit daily redemptions to 5,000 Fliff Cash regardless of what state you live in.

Fliff User Experience – Is Fliff Fun to Play At?

Fliff isn’t available for players on desktop, so you’ll have to download their iOS/Android app or use their instant-play web app on a smartphone or tablet. While I appreciate their commitment to mobile-first betting, they’re admittedly cutting a huge chunk of their audience from the action.

I didn’t notice any differences between their web app and downloadable app in terms of loading speeds or compatibility, but their downloadable app keeps you signed into your account. It also maximizes available screen space on your device in comparison to their web app.

They’ve created a simple yet engaging user interface that has just enough flair to stand out from competing platforms.

Still, given that competitors like Sportzino are available on both desktop and mobile, they’re fighting something of an uphill battle, in my opinion.

Mobile

I found Fliff easy to use for the most part. It’s clear that they have used traditional real money mobile sportsbooks as their template. The bets themselves are given the most real estate on screen, making it easy to jump right in as soon as you open the platform.

Fliff clearly prioritizes live bets, which were always the first thing that greeted me during the week I spent reviewing the platform. I was able to view their wider markets by clicking “All Sports” at the top-right corner of the page.

I could swap between Fliff Coins/Fliff Cash by toggling their uppermost switch, and I liked having my bet slip at the ready near the bottom-right corner of the screen.

I also appreciate how they’ve organized their events based on recency. Up-and-coming games are displayed front-and-center.

I could see events for up to five days in the future. The addition of a bottom-row menu allowed me to view their chat, see my FC/XP balances, sign up with Sidepot (a sister sweepstakes casinos, and buy coins. Their “Shop” is also where you can claim hourly login rewards.

If you need to get in touch with support or update your account settings, toggle to “Account” and select the top-right menu. You’ll be able to invite friends, redeem Fliff Cash, contact their support team, brush up on their rules, follow them on socials, or log out of your account using this menu.

I’d liken the experience at Fliff to something that’s easy to learn but hard to master. During my time spent testing their platform, I uncovered easter eggs like their real-time chat function after you place a live wager. I enjoyed commiserating with other bettors about the Dallas Mavericks. I think they could do a better job of spelling out the existence of fun features like this for beginners.

For the most part, Fliff is plug-and-play. I placed my first live wager less than 30 seconds after getting free coins, and I was guided through the process with their beginner-friendly instructions.

All you have to do is pick your event, choose a market, enter the number of Fliff Coins or Fliff Cash you’d like to spend, and wait for the results to roll in.

The lack of desktop compatibility is a pity, but I very much enjoyed using the app.

Is the Customer Support Any Good?

Customer support is a major weak link for Fliff. They don’t offer live chat or phone-based service, so you’ll have to send them an email or submit a support ticket through their app. I tried getting in touch on Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter), but I didn’t notice any responses.

I sent an email to [email protected] because I had a question about their restricted locations. I got a response from one of their team members six hours later. Instant support, it is not.

Later during the week, I had another question about their KYC verification. This time, I wanted to submit a support ticket. I clicked “Account,” tapped the main menu at the top-right corner, and selected “Contact Us” from the following page to launch their ticket request form. I was prompted to enter a subject line and message before clicking “Submit” to send it out.

I noticed a response via email five hours later, so the timeframe is pretty similar

I was able to browse Fliff’s dedicated Help Center by clicking the link in their ticket request form. Their FAQ covers everything from sports predictions to Fliff Coin purchases, and I’d definitely recommend new players check it out to get to know Fiff.

Much more impressively, I got replies from other players instantly underneath their “Activity” tab. While their community chat can’t replace trained support agents, I found it useful for addressing simple questions about their daily login rewards, XP challenges, leaderboards, and purchase bonuses. It’s also just fun to chat to other players.

Is Fliff Trustworthy?

Yes, Fliff is a trustworthy social sportsbook that’s owned by Pennsylvanian co-founders Mario Dodev and Matt Ricci. They exist legally as a sweepstakes platform in 45 U.S. states and Washington, D.C., but they prohibit users in 13 states from claiming Fliff Cash via purchases or mail-in offers.

While they don’t need a real money license to operate, they adhere to sweepstakes regulations. They promise reliable redemptions, fair odds and fully secure payments.

Fliff have a a public-facing LinkedIn page, which is good to see. If people are telling you their true identity online, it’s much harder for them to scam you

Fliff is owned and operated by Fliff, Inc. They were founded by Mario Dodev and Matt Ricci back in 2019. Fliff is a pioneer of social sports betting and in more recent years has opened a sister social casino called Sidepot.

Many sweepstakes casinos don’t have listed owners beyond the parent company, so I love how Fliff has been doing their best to reach a public fanbase with frequent sports coverage on social media. Their X (Twitter) account delivers real-time commentary, pop culture memes, and more.

What Do the Reviews Say?

Fliff doesn’t have a dedicated TrustPilot page, but the player reviews elsewhere are positive.
