Crown Coins is a sweepstakes casino that went live in 2023, specialising in slots and jackpots. Their most compelling features include five-figure SC jackpots, and Daily Missions that result in CC and SC prizes, along with excellent customer support via chat and phone.
My Crown Coins review is going deep on everything you need to know about this platform, including games, my experience with payments, and how to claim your Crown Coins no deposit bonus now.

Crown Coins Promotions and Bonuses
The bonuses and promos at Crown Coins were a highlight for me. Throughout my week of testing, it always felt like there was something new and interesting happening when I opened the Rewards section.
Daily Missions, their Crown VIP Club and holiday-themed giveaways on social media were some of my highlights.
I opted into every promotion I could find at Crown Coins, and I’m explaining how you can follow in my footsteps.
How I Claimed Crown Coins’ No-Deposit Bonus
Crown Coins’ no-deposit bonus gives players 100,000 Crown Coins (CC) and 2 free Sweeps Coins (SC) to match. All I had to do was sign up and verify my email address with the casino.
- I registered by clicking “Sign Up” from the top-right corner of Crown Coins’ homepage, clicking the button to accept their Terms and Conditions, and filling in my personal info.
- Once I was done, I was prompted to check my inbox. I opened Crown Coins’ email and clicked “Verify Email” to confirm my information.
- The 100,000 Crown Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins appeared in my account right away, allowing me to spin through slots immediately.
Casino Bonus Code
There’s no Crown Coins bonus code necessary to claim any bonuses.
How Does The Sign Up Bonus Compare to Other Sweeps Casinos?
The Crown Coins sign up bonus compares well with other top sweeps sites, setting you up with a good supply of both CC and SC right off the bat.
Crown Coins gives you 100,000 CC and 2 free SC right away, which is in the same Sweeps Coins wheelhouse as McLuck’s 7,500 GC, and 2.5 free SC, and Hello Millions’ 1,500 GC, and 2.5 free SC.
Sweepstakes casinos rarely hand out too many SC to new players, with somewhere between 1-3 a pretty standard amount. Some sites, like Global Poker, don’t provide any guaranteed SC to new players.
However, for Gold Coins (or in this case, the equivalent Crown Coins), Crown Coins blows those other two two sites out of the water. Given you can find slots of similar minimum GC bet sizes on all three, Crown Coins is a clear winner.
On the top end of the SC scale, Luckyland Slots goes the extra mile to grant their players a no-deposit bonus of 7,777 GC and 10 free SC.
Other Crown Coins Promotions in April 2025
Here’s a closer look at the other leading promotions offered by Crown Coins in December 2024.
Daily Missions
Crown Coins features Daily Missions with progressively increasing CC and SC prizes. The Missions are usually just ways to direct you to try new games, in exchange for prizes.
As a new player, my first Mission involved placing five spins worth 0.2 SC to claim 1 free spin worth 0.20 SC on Jmania Habanero Hold and Win.
I had to place 10 spins on Day 2, and I completed various other challenges involving certain slots for the week I spent testing Crown Coins. The largest prize I received was 120,000 CC and 6 free SC on Day 7, after which point I stopped testing the platform.
If you enjoy receiving rewards for playing games, you’ll love it here. I enjoyed the way the Missions directed me towards new games, which otherwise I might have overlooked.
Crown Coins advertises that you can get up to 2 million CC, 100 free SC and one spin on their VIP-only bonus wheel after putting together a consistent streak of completed Daily Missions, which they call their Grand Prize. Unfortunately, they don’t go into detail on what you actually need to do to achieve this, so it’s hard for me to rate how feasible it is.
Daily Missions are accessible from Crown Coins’ homepage while logged in. I tapped their gift box to view my daily task (and its associated reward).
Daily Bonuses
In addition to Daily Missions, Crown Coins hosts progressively increasing daily login bonuses. You can see all the details when you click into the Rewards section of the menu. I received 5,000 CC as my first daily bonus on top of 100,000 CC and 2 free SC I received through the welcome bonus.
Here’s how the daily bonuses broke down for me:
- Day 1: 5,000 CC
- Day 2: 10,000 CC and 0.5 free SC
- Day 3: 15,000 CC
- Day 4: 20,000 CC and 0.8 free SC
- Day 5: 25,000 CC
- Day 6: 30,000 CC
- Day 7: 50,000 CC and 1.5 free S
If you miss a day, you’ll start from the beginning at 5,000 CC. It doesn’t stop after a week either. If you keep logging in consistently right up to Day 30, you’ll get 100,000 CC and 2 free SC as a login bonus.
Generally speaking, I like the increasing login bonus model. However, Crown Coins’ bonus could be improved: I didn’t like that on three of my days I only received CC and no SC. The total number of 2.8 SC over the course of a week is below average for sweeps sites. Ding Ding Ding provides 5 SC over the same period of time, including daily SC.
The Coins were sent to my balance automatically after clicking the “Collect” pop up when I logged in. Even if you miss their pop-up, you can always get your bonus under “Rewards.”
First Purchase Bonus
There’s no purchase required to play games at Crown Coins or any other social casino, but they had two significant discounts on deck at the time of my review. The “Snowy Offer” delivers 200% more coins than usual across two Crown Coin bundles priced at $5.99 and $14.99, respectively.
- $5.99: 400,000 CC + 18 free SC
- $14.99: 900,000 CC + 45 SC
I like these offers a lot: 200% is a great boost and I appreciate the fact that you can choose between whichever price point makes more sense for you.
Neither boost is listed on their coin purchase menu, but the advertisement pops up instantly after logging in. I didn’t purchase the coins immediately when the promo appeared, but I figured out a way to get the discount later.
If you want to do the same, sign out and sign back into your account. Taking this step retriggers the pop-up, allowing access to their discounts on your own schedule.
Crown VIP Club
Crown Coins’ comprehensive VIP Club features six tiers, lots of rewards, and exciting new opportunities for active players. As you enjoy games and collect VIP Points, you’ll progress to Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Emerald VIP. Let’s take a closer look at how it’s structured:
VIP Level | VIP Points Required | Coinback (%) | Club Benefits |
Bronze VIP | 500 VIP Points | 2% | Upgraded daily bonus, monthly reward |
Silver VIP | 5,000 VIP Points | 3% | Upgraded daily bonus, monthly reward, birthday gift |
Gold VIP | 50,000 VIP Points | 4% | Upgraded daily bonus, monthly reward, birthday gift, premium store |
Diamond VIP | 500,000 VIP Points | 5% | Upgraded daily bonus, monthly reward, birthday gift, premium store, 24-hour redemptions |
Emerald VIP | 5,000,000+ VIP Points | 6% | Upgraded daily bonus, monthly reward, birthday gift, premium store, 24-hour redemptions, personal account host |
Players earn VIP Points exclusively through slots gameplay. Every time I spent 100,000 CC or 1 SC, I earned one VIP Point. I was able to see my VIP status at any time by clicking the crown icon next to my balance. You can see the various benefits from each tier in the table above.
I only spent a week on Crown Coins for this review, which wasn’t enough to reach the Bronze level, unfortunately.
As a reviewer, I appreciate Crown Coins’ VIP program because you can theoretically level up without purchasing coins. That said, the number of VIP points required to move between levels is a lot – especially the top tiers. It would be nice to see the levels made more accessible.

Refer-A-Friend
Crown Coins’ referral program is worth 400,000 CC and 20 free SC for each friend that signs up, gets KYC-verified and makes CC purchases totaling a minimum of $14.90.
I was writing my Crown Coins review close to Christmas, and they had a limited time only boost on their regular offer for the holidays. I saw that at the time of my review, each qualified referral could earn me 800,000 CC and 40 free SC instead.
I clicked “Invite Friends” next to Santa’s self-portrait in the menu, tapped on the clipboard icon next to my unique referral link, and sent it to a friend via Facebook by clicking “Share.”
You can also send the link through SMS, email or any other form of virtual communication. Just a few minutes after my co-worker finished the verification process and bought $14.99 worth of CC on my behalf, I clicked “Claim Rewards” to receive my bonus of 800,000 CC and 40 free SC.
I loved the simplicity of the process, and of course the boost on the normal offer was very welcome indeed. I also appreciated that the $14.90 minimum spend requirement corresponded favorably to the $14.99 first purchase boost, which shows joined up thinking from Crown Coins.
Free Giveaways
You can follow Crown Coins on Instagram, Facebook and X (Twitter) to participate in frequent giveaway events. During my Crown Coins review, they pledged twenty surprise-filled scratch cards to twenty players willing to reveal their favorite thing about the holiday season.
All you have to do is follow, like, and comment for a chance to win. Crown Coins’ commitment to handing out free coins is admirable, especially considering that social media giveaways are becoming harder and harder to find as a whole.
Crown Coins March Madness
March brings a mix of competitive events, new gameplay features, and themed promotions. Here’s a breakdown of what’s happening and how it might impact the player experience.
Women’s Day Showdown (March 7-8)
This Slot vs. Slot Social Tournament is themed around Women’s Day, featuring a 15,000 SC prize pool. Players compete in selected slot games and minigames, with rewards based on their performance.
- Notable Aspects: The format encourages direct competition between players, which may appeal to those who enjoy head-to-head challenges.
- Potential Drawbacks: The limited timeframe means participation is restricted to a two-day window.
24-Hour Mega Race – March 10
A one-day-only race with a 40,000 SC prize pool, where players compete for leaderboard positions by playing eligible games.
- What Stands Out: The short duration creates high-intensity competition. Prize distribution will likely favor top performers.
- Considerations: The race format typically benefits high-volume players, which could make it less accessible to casual participants.
March 10 – Hammers Feature Launch
A new gameplay element, Hammers, is being introduced. This in-game currency allows players to break tiles to reveal prizes. Alongside the launch, there are:
- Hammer Race – A competition tied to the new feature.
- Hammer Offers & Gifts – Promotional incentives for trying Hammers.
- Skywind Race – A leaderboard competition for players using Skywind slots.
- What It Means for Players: The introduction of Hammers adds a new mechanic that could impact gameplay strategy.
- Potential Impact: Depending on how they are earned and used, Hammers could provide a more interactive experience or introduce an additional layer of spending mechanics.
Saint Patrick’s Week Extravaganza (March 13-19)
Crown Coins Casino is prepping for a busy week ahead as St. Patrick’s Day approaches. The brand will feature new and exciting offers daily, with new game releases, prize drops, and more. You can easily log in from Thursday to Wednesday to access a new offer from your Crown Coins account.
- Thursday—Spinomenal Spotlight: Crown Coins Treasures from Spinomenal hits on on Thursday. Random rewards will drop throughout the day for players who give the slot a spin.
- Friday—Pragmatic Play Spotlight: Log in and explore Wheel O’Gold Drops and Wild Wild Riches by Pragmatic Play on Friday. Random rewards will drop, and a 10,000 SC prize pool will be up for grabs.
- Saturday—Ruby Spotlight: Play Shake Shake Leprechaun on Saturday and try to earn a piece of a 10,000 SC prize pool via a social media challenge.
- Sunday—1X2 Spotlight: 1X2 Gaming’s 3 Leprechaun Charms is featured on Sunday, with random prizes dropped throughout the day.
- Tuesday—Playson Spotlight: Crown Coins will highlight Lightning Clovers by Playson on Tuesday. The prize pool is 10,000 SC.
- Wednesday—Microgaming Spotlight: Enjoy Mining Loaded Pots by Microgaming on Wednesday and compete in a social media challenge to try and win a prize from the 10,000 SC prize pool.
My Experience Opening an Account at Crown Coins
I was able to sign up at Crown Coins within five minutes. Although they accept Apple, Facebook and Google signups, I registered from scratch using my email address. Here’s how I got started:
- Create A New Account: Click “Sign Up” at the top-right corner of Crown Coins’ homepage, or just click our sign up link on this page. Decide whether you’d like to register via your Apple ID, Facebook login, or Google credentials. Alternatively, click “Sign Up With Email” to begin fresh like I did.
- Enter Personal Details: Enter your email address and make a new password before clicking “Create Account.”
- Confirm Your Email: Open your email inbox and look for a new message from Crown Coins. If it doesn’t arrive momentarily, check your spam/junk mail. Click “Verify Your Email” to claim the 100,000 CC and 2 free SC advertised in their no-deposit bonus.
You’ll be redirected to Crown Coins’ homepage, where you’ll notice the bonus coins waiting for you. I was able to play games and start completing missions within five minutes of viewing their registration page. Crown Coins makes it easy for beginners to feel comfortable while signing up.
What I Liked and Disliked About Crown Coins
Crown Coins excels in terms of customer support, beginner-friendliness, and VIP benefits, but there’s no such thing as the perfect sweepstakes casino. They’re missing virtual classic tables, specialties, live dealer games, and site-wide tournaments.

My Thoughts on the Game Selection at Crown Coins
Crown Coins Game Details | |
Slots | 121 |
Jackpots | 21 |
Table Games | 0 |
Live Dealer Games | 0 |
Average RTP | 96% |
Game Providers | Ruby Play, Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw, Playson, Skywind, Booming Games, Relax Gaming |
Demo Play | Not Available |
Crown Coins is a fantastic option for beginner slot players and jackpot hunters, but their one-dimensional focus leaves a lot of games out in the cold. I didn’t find blackjack, video poker, baccarat, roulette, cards, dice, Crash games, instant-win titles, bingo games, or scratch cards.
Crown Coins has teamed up with the following seven software providers to stock their library:
- Ruby Play
- Pragmatic
- Hacksaw
- Playson
- Skywind
- Booming Games
- Relax Gaming
Classic Slot Games
Crown Coins features 121 classic slots viewable under the “Slots” header at their top menu. I was playing from New York, but you might see some variations in the gaming menu depending on what state you are in.
I found it very easy to explore the menu. You can sort by provider by opening the menu to the right, or scroll down “Home” to see a running list of their partnered companies. You can also sort by recency, popularity and win potential.
Crown Coins also breaks up their collection into themes, which I appreciated. They have done the work of organizing holiday hits, mythological machines, animalistic games, “Lucky 7s” reels taken from the heart of Sin City, and “Candy Craze” games for players with a sweet tooth.
Most casinos don’t take the time to categorize their entire selection this thoroughly, but Crown Coins leaves no stone unturned.
I appreciate that everything is available with one click, including headers that detail the games from each company on their website. The organization was so enjoyable that I rarely used the search function, preferring to just explore using the different categories and filters.
I checked out Crown Coins’ “Zeus’ Treasure” collection and got to work playing Gates of Olympus 1000.
I quickly earned Zeus’ favor on my first spin. My original win of 10,000 CC was boosted by the game’s “tumble feature,” which explodes symbols you’ve matched before allowing new symbols to drop in their place.
Progressive Jackpots
In addition to classic 121 slots and Megaways, Crown Coins hosts 21 progressives from none other than Pragmatic Play. CC and SC players can win four Minor, Major, Mega, and Grand Jackpots on any spin. Their jackpots reached 44.6 million CC and 44,235.43 SC at the time of my review.
I switched over to SC Mode in hopes of replicating my previous win on Gates of Olympus 1000, but I had no such luck. Thankfully, Crown Coins’ jackpots don’t require players to pay a premium to enter. Players qualify so long as they’re spending at least 0.05 SC or 1,000 CC per spin.
If you do trigger one of their jackpots at random, you’ll match symbols until you collect the Minor, Major, Mega, or Grand prize. I spun Big Bass Bonanza until my SC balance ran dry, but the high seas had no mercy on my bankroll.
Crown Coins’ Payment and Redemption Experience
As a sweepstakes casino, you’re not obligated to make purchases to play any games at Crown Coins. Their no-deposit bonus gave me 100,000 CC and 2 free SC to start with, and I won free spins after finishing Daily Missions. Additionally, I came back every day to receive increasing login rewards for a full week, so you’re never too far away from a free top up.
However, it’s possible to purchase Crown Coins with real money if you’re running low, and you will receive some free Sweeps Coins as a bonus if you do. You can also redeem the Sweeps Coins you win from playing games for real money prizes.
I had a positive experience with both purchases and redemptions at Crown Coins.

Crown Coins Payments
Crown Coins accepts VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and Skrill purchases on desktop. After moving to mobile on my iPhone 16, I saw another option for Apple Pay users.
Their $1.99 CC purchase minimum is nice and friendly for more casual players. McLuck’s lowest bundle sells for the same price.
In comparison to other sweeps casinos I’ve reviewed, Crown Coins simplifies the payment and redemption procedures for beginners. I followed easily understandable instructions to complete my first purchase.
When I wanted to make a purchase, I clicked the “Plus” symbol at the top of the website to launch their CC menu. However, neither of their purported 200% boosts were featured on the CC purchase menu, so I logged out and logged back in.
That triggered the pop up again, and I was able to select the green package by clicking “For $5.99.” I chose “Credit Card” from the next screen before entering my card number, full name, card expiry date, and CVV code.
If you want, you can check the box to keep your card details on file for faster future purchases. Click “Complete Purchase” to finalize your transaction.
I received 400,000 CC and 18 free SC immediately after refreshing the webpage. I found the whole process basically the same as paying for anything else online using my Visa card.
Crown Coins Redemptions
Crown Coins’ minimum redemption limit is set at 50 SC for bank transfers and Skrill transfers. At the time of my review, they didn’t offer e-gift card redemptions, which is a blind spot.
As a point of comparison, McLuck imposes a higher cash redemption minimum of 75 SC, but they process virtual gift card prizes worth as little as 10 SC. Then again, RealPrize forces players to earn a minimum of 45 SC for gift cards and 100 SC for cash prizes. All things considered, Crown Coins keeps it fair with a 50 SC minimum across the board.
Still, I’d like to see them start processing gift card prizes with lower limits.
All players must complete Crown Coins’ KYC procedure prior to redeeming their first SC prize.
I was required to submit a photo of my state ID, a selfie of me holding my identification, and my most recent utility bill as proof of address. They require accepted documents to be dated within the past 3 months. I waited 12 hours before one of their team members verified my submission.
I clicked “Redeem” and chose to request a bank transfer prize. I entered my routing and account numbers, confirmed my personal details and redeemed 50 SC.
I waited 24 hours before noticing the $50 in my account, but most players report waiting 2 – 3 days before receiving their prizes.

Overall User Experience – Is Crown Coins Fun to Play At?
Crown Coins features a remarkably beginner-friendly interface on desktop and mobile devices. I found it exceptionally easy to do pretty much everything, from exploring games to making purchases and redemptions. I’m a personal fan of their yellow-on-black colors.
I originally wrote this review in December, and Santa and his reindeer greeted me with a jolly smile just moments after I made a new account. It’s a nice touch that shows how Crown Coins is constantly tweaking its design and offerings, depending on the season.
Crown Coins on Desktop
Crown Coins desktop software is a perfect blend of modern design and beginner friendly functionality.
The user interface leaves no stone unturned, organizing every game in their library to the delight of my inner perfectionist. You can sort by provider from their sidebar, but it’s just as enjoyable to scroll down the “Home” page for a running list of themed collections and software companies.
Clicking their brand logo jumps back to the Home screen no matter where you are on the website. I was able to see my VIP Progress next to my CC and SC balances, which are easily accessible by toggling the CC/SC button at the top of the page.
Opening their sidebar gave me immediate access to my account settings. I also viewed my Rewards, opened their Help Center, and saw where I could log out using the main menu.
I like how Crown Coins utilizes pop-ups: they strike the right balance between ensuring I don’t miss out on a promo and not overwhelming users with spam. In case you miss a pop-up or have any questions about the status of your VIP/referral benefits, your daily bonuses, coinback bonuses, and referral bonuses are categorized under Rewards in the menu.
Crown Coins on Mobile
I couldn’t find a downloadable app for Crown Coins on iOS or Android, so I pulled up Chrome on my iPhone 16 to test it out. After logging in, I noticed the addition of a bottom menu. This menu allowed me to use one hand more readily while browsing the site.
I viewed their CC purchase menu, accessed my redemptions, viewed my Rewards, and opened my profile with a single tap. I like that the game icons are sized appropriately for smartphone screens.
The basic functionality is similar to the desktop, including the toggle button from GC to SC and the different sections of the gaming menu. I didn’t notice any lag while spinning through slots or checking on the status of my Daily Missions.
A dedicated Crown Coins app would be nice, but this is a good replacement for now.
Is the Customer Support Any Good?
In my experience, Crown Coins provides excellent customer support. They feature 24/7 chat and phone assistance for free, which is pretty rare in the industry.
For instance, Hello Millions only provides live chat support to players who have made a GC purchase, while Ding Ding Ding doesn’t even have live chat support at all.
I was able to send chats, submit support tickets, and view their FAQ via the Help Center. Scroll to the bottom of their website and click Contact Us if you want to get in touch. I sent a chat message to a customer support agent called Lily asking what the “Premium Store” was for Gold VIP members.
She was friendly and relatively helpful, although a little light on details. She explained how the Premium Store promises an “enhanced experience” featuring “significantly higher free coins.” She got back to me immediately when I first reached out around 11 PM EST. During off-peak hours, their team’s estimated reply window ranges from 1 – 5 hours – which contradicts the “live” part of “live chat”. Still, they were always very fast in my experience.
I also submitted a support ticket by toggling over to “Tickets” from “Messages.” I had a question about completing their KYC, and I got a reply 4 hours later. I emailed [email protected] with a final question about using Apple Pay on my iPhone, but I waited 12 hours for a response.
Lastly, I called Crown Coins’ support number at +1 (201) 535 – 4587. I first reached out at 10:45 PM, but nobody picked up the phone. I called them back the next morning and spoke with a real agent after five minutes of waiting. Overall, I definitely preferred the live chat service.
Here’s how you can get help at Crown Coins:
- FAQ
- Live chat support
- Email via ticket
- Email to [email protected]
- Phone at +1 (201) 535 – 4587
Is Crown Coins Trustworthy?
Yes, Crown Coins Casino is as trustworthy as they come. Having opened in 2023, they’re still developing their reputation, but all the signs are good so far.
Crown Coins’ partnerships with the industry’s most reputable software providers is a major green flag. Pragmatic Play doesn’t work with dishonorable platforms because their own hard fought reputation is at stake. Every game on Crown Coins’ website is RNG-certified as random.
As required of all sweepstakes casinos, Crown Coin conducts KYC checks to verify the age and identity of each player before sending out prize redemptions. Your personal information is protected with 256-bit encryption.
You can purchase Crown Coins and request prize redemptions using legit and safe payment methods, like VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Apple Pay, and/or Skrill.
Who Owns Crown Coins?
Crown Coins is owned by Sunflower Limited, a well-known iGaming company that keeps their headquarters local to the United States. Because Crown Coins is a sweeps casino, they don’t require a traditional gambling license to operate in 46 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
Sunflower Limited’s registered address is at PO Box 1600 Manchester, NH 03105. All payments and redemptions are processed by Sunflower Technology Inc., an offshoot of Sunflower Limited. They operate as a team of 10+ people, who collectively have decades of iGaming industry experience.
What Do the Reviews Say?
A quick look at Crown Coins’ TrustPilot profile told me nearly everything I needed to know. They maintain a 4.7 out of 5 star TrustScore based on 16,265 player reviews.
88% of respondents left a five-star rating, citing Crown Coins’ “Daily Missions” and social media giveaways as their main reasons for sticking around. Some users had issues with Crown Coins’ referral package and support availability, but their team responds to 91% of all negative reviews.
Are There Any Responsible Gaming Resources?
In my expert opinion, Crown Coins demonstrates a genuine commitment to the well-being and safety of their players with comprehensive Responsible Social Gaming tools. I scrolled down to the bottom of their website and selected “Go To Responsible Social Gaming” via the site footer.
Crown Coins website is a pleasure to use, and beginners will have no trouble with its plug-and-play functionality.
I was redirected to their Responsible Social Play policy, which explains how to use the casino’s existing restrictions while providing external advice, support, and resources for struggling users.
Activity Reminders pop up every hour by default, showing you how long you’ve spent logged in.
Players must contact Crown Coins’ support team via live chat, email, ticket or phone to “Take A Break,” self-exclude from gaming for at least 6 months, or permanently shut down their account.
There’s no way to set CC purchase limits, time limits or SC play limits. Still, I appreciate how they’ve gone the extra mile to mention resources and battle against common myths that can lead to financial ruin. They link to a self-assessment quiz from gamequitters to help gauge the severity of a potential issue.
They encourage struggling players to connect with Gaming Addicts Anonymous (GAA), the Financial Counseling Association of America (FCAA), or the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. Lastly, they explain how their slots work and discuss 8 tips for safer gameplay.
What’s the Difference Between Crown Coins and a Real Money Casino?
Crown Coins is a sweepstakes casino, meaning they don’t accept real money wagers in any capacity. Instead, you’ll use Crown Coins (CC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) to play games.
Crown Coins – which are often called Gold Coins at other sites – are only useful for playing games at Crown Coins. No matter how many you win, you can’t cash them out or claim prizes. Sweeps Coins, on the other hand, can be redeemed for cash prizes when you win them through playing games.
New social casinos and sweepstakes casinos don’t require a gambling license and legally aren’t recognized as gambling sites. This is why Crown Coins is legally allowed to offer services in 46 US states, including states without legal gambling.

How We Rate Sweepstakes Casinos
Here at SweepsChaser, we have developed a standardized rating system for every casino we review. Everything in our reviews is based on direct, first person experience. We form original opinions using our methodology, assessing the positives and negatives and coming to a conclusion for our reader.
We spend a minimum of ten hours researching the following four key areas, over the course of seven days:
- Bonuses and Promotions: Starting with no-deposit offers, we opt into every promotion listed at a particular casino. We comment online for social media giveaways, participate in tournaments, and claim login bonuses. We judge promos based on how easy they are to claim, how much they’re worth, and how they stack up against the competitions’ offers.
- Games: Our team spends a minimum of three hours playing twenty slots, tables, and live games (if applicable) at each casino we review, assessing the overall quality of the games. We prioritize platforms that work closely with reputable software companies like Pragmatic Play, and we look for special features (such as sports betting or poker) that help a casino stand out.
- Payment Options: We personally go through the process of purchasing Gold Coins and redeeming Sweeps Coins for prizes, from start to finish. We like sites that feature low purchase/redemption minimums and compatibility with multiple different payment methods. Cryptocurrency functionality is a bonus.
- User Experience: We review how the site feels to use from the perspective of a regular user. We consider how intelligent the design is, how impressive the graphics are, and whether a beginner will struggle or not. We always test out the casino on both desktop and mobile to see how they compare.
- Customer Support: We get in touch with support using all the methods we can find on their website. Our experts send out live chats, draft emails, submit support tickets, send DMs on social media, and call over the phone while documenting average reply speeds and quality over multiple days. Our ratings prioritize casinos with free, 24/7 chat support.
Why Trust SweepsChaser?
Here at SweepsChaser, we pride ourselves on simple, unbiased reviews and information that is always based on personal experience. We know what is important to our readers, because we are regular gamers and gamblers ourselves.
After decades of playing online, we understand what makes a site great and what can ruin a players’ experience even at the top-rated sweepstakes casinos.
We aren’t afraid to issue criticisms when necessary, but we’re equally glad to give credit where it’s due. We never sugarcoat the truth, and we never endorse a site we wouldn’t use ourselves.
Would I Recommend Crown Coins?
I’d recommend Crown Coins for beginners due to their easily understandable website layout, free 24/7 chat support, dedicated phone hotline, and simple user interface. They also appeal to jackpot hunters with five-figure SC prizes available across 21 Pragmatic slots.
Lastly, players who appreciate consistent bonuses will enjoy their time spent at Crown Coins. I completed Daily Missions, received an increasing number of CC + SC every day, and enjoyed building up my VIP level during my week-long testing period. They reward players who stick around, which is always good to see.
On the flipside, I wouldn’t suggest Crown Coins to more experienced players or anyone looking for table games or live tables. Slots are pretty much the only thing on the menu at Crown Coins, and for some players that won’t be enough.
